Booking, Service & Policy Agreement
Effective Date: August 1, 2025

1. Booking & Scheduling Policies

1.1 Appointment Scheduling

Appointments must be scheduled through our official website (www.aureusserenitybodywork.com) or by phone at (520) 339-3972. This ensures proper documentation and availability.

1.2 Booking Confirmation

Upon booking, a confirmation email will be sent with appointment details. Clients are responsible for reviewing this confirmation for accuracy.

1.3 Client Information Accuracy

Clients must provide complete, current, and accurate personal, contact, and health information. Failure to do so may impact service delivery and safety.

1.4 Service Area

Aureus Serenity Bodywork LLC services are offered exclusively within the Tucson, AZ city limits. Additional travel fees may apply for appointments outside this zone and must be agreed upon in advance.

1.5 Therapist Arrival & Setup

Licensed massage therapists will arrive 15–20 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment to allow for setup. Sessions will begin at the designated time.

1.6 Client Environment Requirements

Clients must ensure a clean, quiet, and private space with sufficient room for a massage table and therapist movement. Pets must be secured away from the session area.

2. Cancellation, Rescheduling & No-Show Policy

2.1 Notice Requirement

A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment without penalty.

2.2 Late Cancellation

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice are subject to a fee equal to 25% of the scheduled service price.

2.3 No-Show

Failure to be present at the designated time and location without notice constitutes a no-show. In such cases, the full service fee will be charged. Exceptions may be made at Aureus Serenity Bodywork LLC's discretion.

2.4 Therapist Cancellations

If Aureus Serenity Bodywork LLC must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued for pre-paid sessions. Clients will also be offered priority rescheduling at no extra cost

3. Client & Therapist Timeliness

3.1 Client Tardiness

Sessions will end at the scheduled time regardless of client arrival time.

Full payment for the originally booked session is required.

3.2 Therapist Delay

In case of therapist delay, either:

The session time will be extended, or

A full-length rescheduled session will be offered at no additional cost

4. Payment, Pricing & Refund Policy

42. Additional Fees

Travel Fees: Applied to out-of-area services; disclosed prior to booking.

Parking Fees: Passed on to client if applicable.

Gratuity: Appreciated but not required.

4.3 Payment Methods

4.4 Price Changes
Rates are subject to change without prior notice. Clients are advised to confirm pricing when booking.

4.5 Refunds

No refunds will be issued for sessions shortened due to client conduct or lateness.

Sessions shortened by the therapist for reasons within their control may be eligible for refund or rescheduling, per Section 3.2.

4.6 Reservation Deposit Requirement

(a) Deposit as Consideration and Contractual Agreement
To secure an appointment, clients are required to pay a non-refundable deposit of $50.00 at the time of booking. This deposit acts as consideration and forms part of a binding service agreement between the client and Aureus Serenity Bodywork LLC.

(b) Application of Deposit
The deposit will be applied toward the total cost of the massage session and reflected in the final invoice. Clients may choose to pay the entire session price upfront at the time of booking; in such cases, the deposit is absorbed into the total pre-payment.

(c) Enforceability
Failure to submit the required deposit within 24 hours of booking may result in automatic cancellation of the appointment. No therapist will be dispatched, and no services will be rendered without confirmed receipt of the deposit.

(d) Non-Refundable Nature
The deposit is non-refundable, including in the case of cancellation by the client (see Section 2.2), except where Aureus Serenity Bodywork LLC cancels the session (see Section 2.4), in which case the deposit will be returned or credited toward rescheduling.

(e) Rescheduling with Deposit

5. Client Responsibilities & Conduct

5.1 Health Disclosure

Complete an intake form prior to services.

Inform the therapist of any changes in medical condition before each session.

5.2 Informed Consent

Consent to therapeutic bodywork is required.

Clients may stop the session at any time.

5.3 Personal Hygiene & Environment

Maintain personal cleanliness.

Provide a sanitary and safe treatment space.

5.4 Behavior & Boundaries

Zero tolerance for inappropriate or sexual behavior. Sessions will be terminated immediately without refund, and authorities may be notified.

No massage of genital or breast areas; proper draping will be used at all times.

No political, religious, or sensitive private discussions during sessions.

No consumption of drugs or alcohol before or during the appointment.

Services may be refused or terminated if behavior is deemed unsafe or inappropriate

6. Therapist Responsibilities

6.1 Professional Licensing

All therapists are licensed and compliant with Arizona state laws and the NCBTMB Code of Ethics.

6.2 Scope of Practice

Therapists do not diagnose or treat medical conditions.

Clients are referred to appropriate healthcare providers as needed.

6.3 Draping Standards

Modesty and comfort are ensured through professional draping protocols.

6.4 Safety

Therapists may terminate sessions if safety, ethical, or legal boundaries are compromised.

7. Privacy & Data Protection

7.1 Information Collection
Health and personal data are collected solely for service provision and safety.

7.2 Confidentiality
Client information is confidential and protected, except as required by law (e.g., child abuse reporting, court order, or imminent harm).

7.3 Client Rights
Clients may request access to, or correction of, their records in writing.

7.4 Record Retention
Client records are securely stored and maintained in accordance with applicable Arizona state laws.

8. Liability Waiver/Release

a. Client acknowledges potential risks, including but not limited to:

Superficial bruising

Temporary soreness

b. Client releases Aureus Serenity Bodywork and its therapists from liability for any unforeseen reactions, provided all policies and guidelines are followed.

Acceptance of Terms

By scheduling an appointment, clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. These policies are subject to change, and clients are responsible for reviewing the current terms prior to each appointment.
